Our favourite hiking tips
Panorama Trail: The Panorama Trail in the Vordertal valley in Gosau starts directly from our front door. The trail leads you to the Gosausee with a wonderful view of the Gosaukamm and the Dachstein. Suitable for children and families.
Goiserer Hütte: The Goiserer Hütte is a good 2.5 hour walk from the D7. Wonderful panoramic views and dedicated innkeepers with good cuisine await you. Typical hut snacks, "Kasspatzn", mountain climbers' food, "Kaiserschmarrn" and much more...
Gosaubachweg: Small but nice hiking trail directly from our front door. The Gosaubachweg leads through the entire Gosau valley and is pram-friendly.
Circular trail around the Gosausee: Beautiful walking trail with views of the majestic Dachstein. The trail leads past rock faces, forests, meadows, crystal-clear streams and springs.
Altaussee circular trail: Lake Altaussee is certainly one of the most romantic places in Austria. The starting point is the spa gardens in Altaussee. The flat path leads along the lakeshore with a beautiful view of the lake and the Loser to the Seewiese, where you can stop for a bite to eat.
We pack your hiking backpack
If you want to go for a picnic, we will gladly take care of a filled picnic rucksack for your excursion for EUR 25.00 per person, so that you can set off well prepared.
