After the lockdown, the winter season finally starts
The winter season in Gosau begins. This means skiing, snow and fun here with us in the Salzkammergut! 160 kilometres of perfectly groomed slopes, cross-country ski runs, ski touring routes, toboggan runs and snowshoe trails with a fantastic view of the Dachstein panorama await you.
In our accommodations we have made sure that you feel completely comfortable and can relax. A welcome basket is available for you in every accommodation on arrival and our exclusive D7 Spa offers you pure relaxation. For a cosy breakfast, you can book our bread service at any time.
On 17.12.21, the lockdown in Austria (hopefully) ends and from then on we are happy to welcome you back here at the D7. Due to the current Covid-19 situation, certain rules apply in Austria to ensure safe tourism and to allow you to enjoy your well-deserved holiday.
As of today: The 2G-rule ("vaccinated, recovered") applies and FFP2 masks are mandatory in many areas. We have summarised all further information for you on our website so that you can see at a glance what you can look out for.

Safe holiday at the D7 despite of Covid-19
Especially in times like these, the D7 offers the same protection as your own home in all areas as all accommodations are independent and separate units.
Of course, there is disinfectant available for you in our accommodations. You don't have to worry about check-in either: In our entrance area you will find a safe with the key to your accommodation. This way you can check in easily, uncomplicated and contactless.

Pure relaxation at Dachstein 7
Our spa area at Dachstein 7 is "small however fine"! Just the right thing to enjoy some time to relax. Our spa area offers you a Finnish sauna as well as a bio sauna. Ease up in our quiet zone and on our terraces. Additionally, massages are available on request directly in our house. You can find more information on our website.
To ensure that the D7 Spa can be used exclusively for each accommodation, there is a board in the entrance area where you can sign in. We will then prepare the sauna for you accordingly, so that you can have it all to yourself.
And for those of you who don't feel like sitting around, you can really let off steam and work out in our fitness room. We have listed our top equipment for you on our website.
Our inclusive services
Our welcome basket with all sorts of delicacies from the Salz-kammergut awaits you on the day of arrival. Oil, vinegar, pepper, salt, honey and our homemade alpine herb tea are provided.
We have our own bread service! Fresh and delicious buns are delivered daily from the Andexlinger in Abtenau directly to the house, Just fill out the form and send it to us.
In order to be able to really enjoy our spa area, we have put together a sauna bag for you. Included are two large sauna towels and two bathrobes.

Winter rules for safe tourism
There is a temporary lockdown in Austria from 22.11.21 to 16.12.21. Tourist trips to Austria are not possible during this time, but we are happy to welcome you back here at D7 on the 17.12.21.
After the end of the lockdown, the 2G-rule ("vaccinated, recovered") will apply in Austria, as well as mandatory FFP2 masks in many areas. This includes accommodation & gastronomy, cultural institutions, cable cars and Advent markets. Covid-19 tests of any kind (PCR, antigen and antibody tests) are no longer permitted as proof of entry. FFP2-masks are mandatory in museums and shops.
